About Nicola

I’m Nicola Ball — former headteacher, clinical hypnotherapist, and recovering perfectionist. After nearly twenty years in schools and leadership (and one impressively thorough burnout), I swapped inspection reports for introspection.

Now I help educators, leaders, and everyday over-givers rebuild their nervous systems with a mix of warmth, wit, and credible science.

My books Deeply Well and Deeply Embodied form the foundation of this work, turning wellbeing from theory into lived practice.
