Gentle Somatic Reset is a slow, soothing movement class designed to help your body release the tension patterns created by stress, over-giving and emotional overload. It is ideal for anyone who feels “held together by their shoulders”, who struggles to unwind after busy days, or who carries their overwhelm in the jaw, hips, lower back or chest.

Unlike yoga, this practice is not about stretching or pushing. Instead, you’ll explore small, mindful movements that retrain your nervous system to soften its habitual bracing patterns. Through gentle spirals, slow rolling, pandiculation (the brain’s natural release mechanism), functional mobility and breath-based unwinding, your body learns how to relax from the inside out.

The class takes place entirely on the floor, with movements that are accessible, nurturing and deeply calming. Each week focuses on a different area of the body — shoulders and jaw, hips and pelvis, ribcage and breath, spine and fascia, or the vagus nerve — helping you gradually soften physical tension while restoring emotional steadiness.
